Small worlds, big stories: fun children's activities at the Fries Scheepvaart Museum
- 17 February en 16 February
During spring break, the museum is hosting special activities for children and their (grand)parents from Sunday, Feb. 16 through Friday, Feb. 21, 2025. Children will go on a mini-adventure through the museum. In different places you can look for miniatures with corresponding assignments. This way you will discover stories about little and big people in the museum. With a mini route card, young explorers walk past all kinds of assignments, meeting a Viking, a skipper, a traveler and a cannoneer, among others.
In the children's museum, you can play as well as search for mini animals. Children can also get creative themselves: paint a small work of art or assemble your own minifigure from Lego. And don't forget the LEGO Challenge. The three most beautiful boats made will be rewarded with a wonderful Lego package. Children can visit the museum for free, adults pay the regular entrance fee. Stop by too and experience a spring break full of adventure, history and creativity!
