Bolder and Van Santen Call it a marriage
- Friday 18 April 2025vanaf 20:15
In "Call it a Marriage," Bolder & Van Santen start from a pile of household items from just any man and just any woman. Everything has been said, everything has been lived and everything has been dreamed. For a lifetime they have talked to each other, kept silent, collected things, and now they are in that overcrowded house and there seems to be no escape. In rapid succession, hilarious and touching scenes alternate. Sometimes with text, sometimes physically. The absurdity lies in the magnification of the everyday, the humor in the unexpected turns. Actors Audrey and Noël form a close duo that effortlessly interacts.
They bring a physical cabaret performance about the beautiful misery in which love can get bogged down.
Audrey Bolder and Noël van Santen previously created location theater and small short performances for festivals together. In addition, they each have an impressive list of productions and performances in which they have performed or created themselves.
