Devo is a family-owned business that has been based in the beautiful historic city center of Sneek for 90 years.
Located at Grootzand No. 20, alongside a canal where, in the past, cargo ships (skûtjes in Frisian) would enter the city through the famous Sneek Water Gate to deliver their goods.

Devo, short for De Vooruitgang (which means The Progress), is a store unlike any you would typically find in shopping streets.
Our assortment includes bed textiles, underwear, nightwear, and a variety of knitting yarns, along with a large selection of haberdashery items such as sewing threads and buttons.
Additionally, we offer various hobby supplies, including beads and accessories.
We also have Friesland and Sneek souvenirs, making us a store that you won’t find anywhere else in the Netherlands.

Our location is surrounded by several cafés and restaurants, making shopping in Sneek—and especially at DEVO—more than just shopping: it’s a day out, an experience.
