Water sports village of Woudsend

Between two Frisian lakes lies Woudsend, on the Elfstedentocht route. It is a real water sports village, but a walk through the village also shows beautiful restored buildings, nice vistas and history of Woudsend. A visit to mill 't Lam and the Houtzaagmolen de Jager are worthwhile. In summer there is a Farmers Market every week on Thursdays.
