SSHUW Grass Dryer Pasveer, Sneek

Grass drying plant.
Just before World War II, grass drying plants were established all around our country. Pasveer began production in 1940. The farmers affiliated with the cooperative had their grass dried here to preserve the nutritional value of the product as best as possible. In 2006, this site was remediated and luxury homes were built along the waterfront in recent years. Behind these homes, the Toll House can still be seen.
