Museum Joure
The Museum Joure is located in several buildings, six of which are national monuments. It includes an entrance building with the exhibition area and Johannes Hessel warehouse with a section on coffee, tea and tobacco. In the museum's garden, the birth house of Egbert Douwes, founder of Douwe Egberts, from the early eighteenth century has been rebuilt. In the Crafts Building, a collection of Frisian clocks, a silversmith shop and a bakery with a collection of speculaas boards are on display, while a collection of casting molds and copper objects can be seen in the metalware factory/ Geelgieterij Keverling. There is also a Kadehuis with a coppersmith shop and a coffee roaster, and the Fries Grafisch Museum houses a typesetting and printing shop.
