Jouster Pijp
The Jousterpijp (or Kleinzanderpijp) is a former watergate and nowadays bridge in the city of Sneek, it forms the crossing of the Kleinzand and Jousterkade.
This watergate formed the entrance to the town for ships from the direction of Joure. By 1764 this gate had fallen into great disrepair, after which it was completely demolished. In its place a stone bridge (or pipe) was built, it was fitted with iron railings from above and with stone and wooden ones.
Today this bridge, albeit modernized form, is still present.
