Winter exhibition Gert-jan Veenstra

From December 21 through January 19, 2025, Gallery Offingawier presents the winter exhibition of Frisian painter Gert-Jan Veenstra. As the painter's permanent home since 2009, the gallery offers a unique opportunity to admire the latest work of this versatile artist. For lovers of winter scenes, this exhibition is a feast: snowy fields, frozen ditches and picturesque Frisian villages bring the magic of a real winter to life.

In addition to his atmospheric winter landscapes, other familiar themes of Veenstra's are on display, such as colorful summer landscapes, lively beach and city scenes and dynamic water sports scenes on the Sneekermeer lake. With a varied selection of new work, in varying formats and executed in various techniques, Gert-Jan Veenstra once again demonstrates his mastery in depicting the beauty of the Frisian landscape.
