On December 21 at 8 p.m., Euphonia Wommels will give its traditional Christmas concert. Just like last year, this will take place in the Martinus Church in Reahûs. We will take you, conducted by Ronald Slager, into "An American Christmas!" this time.

The program includes several well-known American Christmas songs, in jazzy and poppy arrangements. They provide a feast of recognition. The classics like Silent Night and Jingle Bells will not be missing either. There is also room for some more carried music such as the Lux Aurumque.

This evening there will be a guest performance by the soloist Mei-Lin. Together with Euphonia she will perform a number of pieces. Mei-Lin is a singer, musician and works as a lab assistant. She regularly performs in all kinds of formations, such as orchestras, bands and duos. She is also currently working on her debut album, which will be released next year. Her first single, Jazzual, was released last summer under the name M.E.I.

After this concert, we hope listeners will go into the dark night with a warm feeling, on their way to a bright Christmas.

Tickets à 12.50 euros are on sale through an online link on Euphonia's site and through the branches of bakery Puur Posthuma.
