UITfestival WVF | Sneek

Sneek is bustling with activities! This year various activities will be organized as part of the UITfestival WVF | Sneek between September 13 and September 21.

During the UITfestival WVF | Sneek there will be a range of open classes from cultural providers, exhibitions, live performances and offerings of already existing activities in Sneek. OUTFESTIVAL 2025

From September 13 to 21, the municipalities of De Fryske Marren and Súdwest-Fryslân will be all about culture during Friesland's UITfestival Waterland. In various villages and towns within the municipalities, the 2025/2026 cultural season will be festively kicked off.

This edition, for the first time, the UITfestival is not on one specific date, but each town or village is organizing a cultural festival within the period from September 13 to 21. In this way there is more opportunity to discover the cultural offerings in multiple places.

With the UITfestival, all cultural associations and culture makers within the region can kick off the cultural season and show what they have to offer. These include choirs, marching bands, artists, bands, comedians, street theater, theater associations, stages, historical societies, etc.

During these moments, the public can experience the region's arts and culture for free. It is the perfect place for the public to get information about the offerings within the arts and cultural sector. In addition to established cultural institutions, there is also room for smaller initiatives and amateur associations to present themselves.
