About the performance
Door het donker was written by Peter Sijbenga, who works as a composer and lyricist for Tryater, among other companies. It is directed by Lucienne van der Meulen. She has directed many plays in Sneek and was among other things involved in the open-air spectacle Three Brothers at the Sneekermeer in 2013.
The cast consists of passionate amateur actors from Sneek and the surrounding area. In 2022 this performance at the museum was sold out eleven times.
