Sneek 80 years free

Marktstraat Sneek - website
Sneek celebrates 80 years of freedom! In April and May 2025 we commemorate 80 years since Sneek was liberated (on April 15, 1945) and the whole country on May 5, 1945.
  • Tuesday 15 April t/m Monday 5 May

Foundation "SNEEK 80 YEARS FREE" puts together a wonderful program to celebrate this milestone.
After the missed jubilee of 75 years in 2020 due to the corona pandemic, they are now joining forces again with various organizations to make this festive and meaningful.

From Tuesday, April 15 to Sunday, May 5, 2025, Sneek will be filled with activities and events that focus on freedom. Holidays such as Easter, Koningsdag and the school vacations will be taken into account, but there will be enough room for a varied and memorable program. Together we will make this period a worthy tribute to our freedom!
