Preparations for the program of Opening Watersport Sneek 2025 are in full swing! On this festive day, on which Sneek celebrates its rich water sports tradition, there is an extensive program for young and old. In De Kolk, ± 40 tugboats can be admired and along the Geeuwkade a lively fair will take place. In addition, the Waterpoort will be open to visitors free of charge on this day.

For young adventurers, there are children's activities at the Fries Scheepvaartmuseum, including free admission and tours of the canals. On the 1st Oosterkade, water sports enthusiasts can test their balance with SUP clinics, while the Rowing Association of Sneek on the Hoogend guarantees sporting rowing challenges.
