Mar-athon Sneek

The 8th edition of the Mar-athon Sneek is scheduled for Saturday, June 21, 2025, traditionally around the longest summer day of the year. With the help of all partners, sponsors and the efforts of many volunteers, the organization is putting everything in place to once again make a sporting experience possible and put summer in motion together.

On the longest day of 2025, we will set summer in motion together. For both walkers and runners it is possible to participate in the different distances of the Mar-athon Sneek.

Quarter Mar-athon Sneek (10.5 km)
Half Mar-athon Sneek (21.1 km)
Full Mar-athon Sneek (42.2 km)
All distances start and finish on the Martiniplein, in the center of Sneek. During the day the walkers will be on their feet, in the evening the runners will run towards the setting sun.
