Lecture Rosita Steenberg
Rosita Steenberg talks about her book "Rose" which is about her family in World War II.
- Monday 21 Aprilvanaf 16:30
Rosita Steenbeek's novel "Rose" is the focus of this reading. In this book she recounts the life of her Jewish-German grandmother and the fortunes of her Jewish family during the 1930s and World War II. This lecture is intended to keep alive the memories of World War II - as well as of later wars. The realization that freedom cannot be taken for granted can never be emphasized enough.
The lecture will be framed musically with organ music by Pastor Peter van der Weide. Admission is free.
