King's Day Sneek

Koningsdag in Sneek is always a festive day, where the orange madness also makes the city of Sneek buzz with energy and fun! There is something for everyone to celebrate the birthday of our king.

Children's square
At the children's square, this year on the square of the Dorcas on the Singel, children can participate in old Dutch games, such as koekhappen and throwing cans. Take part and show that you are the king of King's Day!

Music
Local bands, artists and bands will perform throughout the city, so you can dance the day away or sit on one of the many terraces and enjoy the cheerful sounds.

So put on your orange outfit, put on your best smile and celebrate Koningsdag in Sneek, where the revelry will continue into the evening! Long live the king!

Koningsnacht

On King's Night April 25 from 8 p.m.: Live music on the terraces in the Marktstraat and in lots of pubs & cafes artists & performances.

Note: because King's Day April 27 falls on a Sunday, the festivities will be celebrated (nationwide) a day earlier, namely Saturday, April 26, 2025.

(This year there is no Oranjemarkt/braderie on the Grootzand).
