Flag parade in Sneek

As of March 21, 1 p.m., a brand new flag flies daily in the Nauwe Noorderhorne in Sneek! All stores and residents have enthusiastically purchased their own, giving the street a colorful and festive appearance. During the celebration week in honor of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Sneek, this special flag will shine next to the Dutch flag.

The Nauwe Noorderhorne, a historic street in the heart of Sneek, exudes atmosphere and charm. With a beautiful view of the iconic Martinikerk, it is a popular spot for visitors and photographers.

Alderman Bauke Dam will give the starting signal! for the flag parade. And Henk van der Veer will recite a specially created poem. Celebrate this special moment on March 21 and experience the festive start of the 'Flag Parade'!
