Bush, 2022) takes his time where necessary, does not add music, but does not look away from suffering either. In this sober monument to love and human dignity, heroism is not in great deeds, but in fidelity to one's values and humanity. A timely message in times of hate speech.

Eighty years ago, the Netherlands was liberated by the Allies. We celebrate and remember the liberation and that we have lived in freedom since the end of the Second World War. In these politically exciting times, it is especially important to remember what this means and what it is worth to us.
