Exhibition Dizze dogge der ta | Thijs Damsma

Thijs Damsma, master of the watercolor technique, portrayed all of these 366 figures in a refined style full of color and character. Dick Damsma provided each portrait with a text: informative, stimulating and with a touch of humor. What began as a tear-off calendar idea grew into an impressive book project - and now into a fully-fledged exhibition.

The exhibition

During the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to admire Thijs Damsma's original watercolors up close. The combination of image and text makes each work an independent work of art as well as part of a larger whole. The exhibition is enriched with spatial work from the stock of Galerie Bax Kunst, which makes for a surprising and multifaceted experience.
