Coffee organ concert Christiaan de Vries

The program includes works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Hans Friedrich Micheelsen and Guy Bovet.
Christiaan de Vries (1980) started organ lessons in 1994 with Klaas Tjitte de Jong and Theo Jellema. He studied as a teacher at the North Netherlands Conservatory (1999-2004). Piano and continuo were his subsidiary subjects. He took master classes with Michel Bouvard and Wolfgang Zerer. At the Rotterdam Conservatory (2004-2006) Ben van Oosten guided him to the Performing Musician diploma. He also studied church music at this conservatory.
He also took master classes with Olivier Latry and Lorenzo Ghielmi. Christiaan had been appointed permanent player of the monumental Bätz-Witte organ in the Oude Lutherse Kerk in Amsterdam since 2010. Since January 1, 2016, he also served as titular organist and artistic director of the Round Lutheran Church of Amsterdam with its magnificent Bätz organ.
Recently he moved with his wife to beautiful Zuidlaren and is there connected to the Dorpskerk as organist. He gives concerts at home and abroad.
The entrance fee for the concert is 8 euros. This includes coffee/tea afterwards.
