Big Tattoo in Sneek

A tattoo is a large musical event with the participation of civilian and/or military show corps.
The history of the tattoo goes way back and has military origins. The tattoo was an evening signal in the army for soldiers to return to their quarters, this was a drum beat or trumpet signal.

In cooperation with Advendo, a wonderful program has been put together with performances by both top local and national corps. Performing corps:

Program:

2:30 p.m.: Preliminary program by Brasskapel Boppeslag, the energetic brass and dweilband loot of Advendo
15:00: Start Big Tattoo
Final: Special participation of The Cape Breton Highlanders of Friesland.
17:30: End of the event
