Antiques consultation at the museum

A family heirloom or a chance flea market find, almost everyone has something in their home that makes you wonder, "What is it anyway? And what would it be worth?" On Sunday afternoon, March 9, the Fries Scheepvaart Museum is organizing an antiques consultation hour in cooperation with appraisers Machiel Dijkstra, Haije Dijkstra and Jan Potijk.

The consultation hours are between 12:30 and 14:30 and from 15:00 to 17:00. Pre-registration for the appraisal is required, and can be done at balie@friesscheepvaartmuseum.nl or 0515-414057. You will then be assigned a time slot at which your item (1 per person) will be valued. For just the valuation you pay € 5.50 per person (including a cup of coffee or tea). If you also want to visit the museum it is € 11 per person. Payment can be made on the day itself at our box office. Museum Card holders and members of the Fries Scheepvaart Museum Association receive free admission.
